Part 7 of 7 | Having considered all the ins-and-outs of the doctrine of the church, in this last post we need to consider the bigger picture. Who is the church, where are we going, and how will we get there? That’s what we want to look at in this final post in this series.

From this event in the early church we see how Christ instituted Deacons to be an ongoing office of sympathy and service for his church today.

Thankfully, Scripture gives us instructions about how elders are called to minister under Christ, the King and Head of his church.
